The WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Group Oklahoma City 2026 gets underway with No. 17 Brazil taking on world No. 8 China at Devon Park at 13:00 local time. Brazil return to the Women’s Softball World Cup stage for the first time in 10 years, while China begin their campaign looking to secure a place in the Finals 2027.

World No. 6 Netherlands then open their campaign against No. 23 New Zealand in the second game of the day. The Dutch enter Oklahoma City as the highest-ranked European team in the group and one of the contenders for a place in next year’s Finals, while New Zealand will look to make an impact on their first game of the Women’s Softball World Cup group stage.

Opening day concludes with a North American match-up between world No. 2 USA and No. 7 Mexico under the lights at Devon Park. The hosts begin their campaign at one of the sport’s most recognised venues, while Mexico arrive in Oklahoma City targeting qualification for the Finals 2027. The game follows the tournament’s Opening Ceremony.

The six teams will play a single round robin through Tuesday, with the top four advancing to the Play-Offs on Wednesday, 16 September. The top two teams at the end of the tournament will qualify for the Finals 2027 in Redcliffe, Australia.
