There are three ways to set up your next1 inverter

Our advice: The first option is to use our Studer monitoring app . The advantage of this app is that it simplifies the process of connecting to the Wi-Fi and the web interface of your next1 inverter-charger, and automatically creates and links your installation to our online monitoring system (only if you wish to monitor the installation remotely). Instructions on how to use this option can be found on page 9 of your device’s quick guide, which is supplied with it and is available to download from our downloads page .

The second option does not require you to install our app. However, it takes slightly longer and involves more steps, as you need to connect manually to the device’s Wi-Fi and then set up the link between the installation and our monitoring system (only if you wish to monitor the installation remotely). Instructions on how to use this option can be found on page 10 of your device’s quick guide, which is supplied with it and is available to download from our downloads page .

The third option requires the use of the ‘nx interface’ accessory, which allows you to configure and monitor your Next1 using a physical display. In this specific case, you must connect your interface correctly to the nx communication bus. An incorrect connection, or connecting a device that is not compatible with the communication bus, may result in the destruction of the devices. Information on connecting to the communication bus can be found in the next1 manual, section 5.5, available on the downloads page.
