Puerto Rico launches fifth edition of U-12 and U-15 Baseball National Championships

The Baseball Federation of Puerto Rico (FBPR) announced the opening of the fifth U-12 and U-15 National Championships, with 47 participants: 14 in the U-12 age bracket and 33 in the U-15 category.

In the U-12 championship, Vega Baja Legendarios, Vega Baja Correcaminos, Vega Baja MCSB, Vega Alta, Camuy, Hatillo and Mayagüez will compete in the Northern Division. Guayama, Ponce Glenview, Coamo, Ponce Cachorros, Ponce Bombers, WOBA Yabucoa and Fajardo will play in the Southern Division.

The U-15 championships will split participants into eight Divisions.

Barceloneta, Vega Alta Maceteros, Camuy Braves and Hatillo Forteza will compete in Division A. Division B will include Vega Baja, Las Piedras, Vega Alta Búfalos and Caguas Tornados. Gurabo, Carolina Raiders, Trujillo Alto and Carolina Rebels will play in Division C, while Division D will include Yabucoa, Fajardo, Naguabo and Carolina PRS. Cayey Toritos Jr., Barranquitas, Caguas Red Sox, and Guaynabo will play in Division E. Division F will include Salinas Peces, Juana Díaz Poetas, Ponce Cachorros, and Juana Díaz Piratas. Division G will include Cidra TLM, San Lorenzo, Guayama Brujos, and Cayey Toros, and Division H will include Sabana Grande, Aguada, Mayagüez, and Guánica.

WOBA Yabucoa is the U-12 defending champion. Cidra Potros won the U-15 championship in 2025.
