Nach neun Monaten willkürlicher Untersuchungshaft wurde Said Abdelrazek vor die für Terrorismus zuständige Kammer des Ersten Strafgerichts in Badr gestellt. Die Anklage beruhte allein auf seiner Konvertierung und seinen religiösen Überzeugungen. Die erste Gerichtsanhörung fand am 21. April 2026 statt. Dabei wurde der Prozess auf den 15. Juni 2026 vertagt. Die Sorge um den Gesundheitszustand von Said Abdelrazek, der derzeit im Gefängnis von Madinat al-Aschir min Ramadan festgehalten wird, wächst. Die ägyptischen Behörden müssen Said Abdelrazek umgehend und bedingungslos freilassen, da er sich lediglich aufgrund der friedlichen Wahrnehmung seines Rechts auf Religions- und Glaubensfreiheit in Haft befindet. ...
