Shortly before the start of the new training year, recent figures from the Federal Employment Agency revealed that by the end of July, there were still 182,000 vacant training positions nationwide and around 140,000 young people without placements. According to the DIHK training survey, nearly half of all training companies are now struggling to fill their positions.
