Zurich UAS Racing first race Winterthur to Geschinen; 9th overall, highest-ranked non-driving team July Update - Zurich UAS Racing Starting off the season on home soil This month, the racing spirit was in full swing. With the first event of the season fast approaching, the team worked tirelessly and pushed to meet every deadline to make it happen. The first race of the season took us from Winterthur to Geschinen. The team progressed through scrutineering with only minor adjustments and successfully passed mechanical and accumulator checks after significant effort. Throughout the event, the team demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and a strong focus on safety, while gaining valuable experience and feedback in static events.Although time constraints and some technical setbacks ultimately prevented the completion of the final HV scrutineering, the team left FS Switzerland with important insights and motivation for future competitions. A big win for us: Despite facing stronger competition this year, we improved our overall ranking from 10th to 9th place, making ZUR the highest-ranked team that did not drive at the event. These results also highlight how important the static events are, showing that united as a team, we can push even further. With FS Switzerland in the books we headed home to get some well-deserved rest and relaxation before conducting a further test and development week. ...
