V.” , the Schönhausen & Surrounding Area chapter of LandFrauen has knitted numerous pairs of socks for patients at the Magdeburg University Women’s Hospital . Women with gynecological cancers, in particular, often suffer from cold feet due to hormonal fluctuations. The warm, hand-knitted socks are therefore a thoughtful and practical source of support in everyday hospital life and are gratefully received by the patients. ...
