Dazu wollen die Bischöfe die Stimme der Jugend hören. Künftig steht die ganze Lebenswelt der jungen Menschen im Fokus der Kirche. Die 21. Vollversammlung der Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA) hat vom 18. bis 26. Juli 2026 in Nairobi stattgefunden. Gastgeber war die kenianische Bischofskonferenz. Im Rahmen dieser Vollversammlung erklärten die Bischöfe die Sorge um junge Menschen zu einem gemeinsamen pastoralen Schwerpunkt in den kommenden vier Jahren in Ostafrika.
