The tiles offer a flexible and cost-effective alternative to paving stones, concrete and asphalt, with quick tool-free installation. Cooperation is offered through distribution under the companies’ brand or manufacturing under the partner’s brand. - Full Description - A Slovenian development and manufacturing company with a business tradition dating back to 1977 is seeking international distributors and private-label partners for modular flooring tiles. The company has almost 50 years of experience in developing and manufacturing plastic products for international industrial and retail customers. It operates more than 15,000 m² of production and business facilities, uses 55 injection-moulding machines, has in-house development and manufacturing capabilities, and generates most of its sales in international markets. The proposed modular flooring tiles are made from 100% post-industrial recycled polypropylene. They are intended for arranging and protecting indoor and outdoor surfaces and represent a flexible and cost-effective alternative to conventional paving stones, concrete or asphalt, particularly where a surface must be installed quickly without complex construction work, specialised tools or permanent intervention in the ground. The tiles connect through a modular click-together system. Installation is fast and tool-free, while the completed surface can later be extended, reshaped, moved or reused. The tiles are suitable for flat and stable surfaces such as grass, compacted soil, gravel and existing hard surfaces. Typical applications include gardens, courtyards, patios, campsites and motorhome pitches, greenhouses, workshops, warehouses, farms, exhibition areas, events and other private or professional environments. Basic levelling of the substrate is recommended for optimal performance. The tiles have a textured non-slip upper surface and a grid-shaped underside that supports stability and water drainage. Load capacity is up to 1,000 kg per tile, verified through internal mechanical load testing under multiple loading scenarios.. The product is resistant to weather and mechanical loads and is designed for long service life and repeated use. The product is in serial production and is already marketed under the companies’ brand through online, selected B2B and retail channels. Its technology readiness level is TRL 9, and commercialisation began in January 2025. The company is open to two forms of cooperation: 1. Distribution Services Agreement – the partner distributes the product under the companies’ brand. 2. Manufacturing Agreement – Slovenian company manufactures the product for a partner that markets it under its own brand or includes it in its product portfolio. For private-label partners, the branding, graphic design, information sheet and sales presentation can be adapted. The Slovenian company can prepare the graphic and content proposal, while the detailed branding and packaging arrangements are agreed during commercial negotiations. The product is available in three standard colours. For larger orders, approximately above 30,000 pieces, production in a non-standard colour may also be agreed. A digital product passport is available, providing information about the material, recyclability, compliance, manufacturer and environmental characteristics. The company seeks a partner with established access to DIY and home-improvement chains, specialist flooring and paving distributors, building-material retailers, garden centres, online marketplaces and other retail or professional channels. The objective is long-term cooperation with a partner able to position the product within the flooring-solutions category and actively develop sales in its market. - Advantages and Innovations - The modular flooring tiles combine circular material use, modularity, simple installation, reusability and high mechanical resistance. Compared with conventional paving stones, concrete or asphalt, they enable faster installation, require less substrate preparation, need no special tools and can later be removed, relocated or reused. Key advantages: • made from 100% post-industrial recycled polypropylene; • mono-material design, enabling recycling when the product is clean and unmixed; • modular click-together system and tool-free installation; • extendable, reconfigurable and reusable surface; • textured non-slip upper surface; • grid-shaped underside for stability and water drainage; • resistance to weather and mechanical loads; • load capacity of up to 1,000 kg per tile; • low weight and easy handling; • suitability for private and professional applications; • digital product passport; • availability under the companies’ brand or as a private-label product; • adaptable information sheet, sales materials and, for suitable volumes, product colour; • marketing support with images, videos and sales content. In 2025, the product received a Silver Regional Award for Innovation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and the European Quality Trade Mark – EQTM. It was developed by a multidisciplinary team in cooperation with the TECOS development centre. - Technical Specification or Expertise Sought - Technical and logistical product specifications • Material: 100% post-industrial recycled polypropylene (PP) • Tile dimensions: 25.1 × 25.1 × 2.62 cm • Weight per tile: 570.4 g • Load capacity: up to 1,000 kg per tile • Surface: textured non-slip upper surface • Underside: grid-shaped structure for stability and water drainage • Connection system: tool-free click-together system • Packaging: 8 tiles per carton • Coverage per carton: approximately 0.5 m² • Carton weight: 4,563.2 g • Palletisation: 60 cartons per pallet • Number of tiles per pallet: 480 • Coverage per pallet: approximately 30 m² • Standard versions: three colours • Custom colour: available by agreement for orders above approximately 30,000 units. • Indicative lead time: 4 weeks • Product
