Despite the disappointment of conceding the equaliser at the death, there was satisfaction with the performance as a whole. Head coach Marcel Rapp : “We got off to a good start and had a huge chance through Martijn Kaars that we didn’t put away. It went back and forth a bit after that. Both teams had chances and we scored twice, but then we conceded after half-time. The game turned when we had two chances to make it 3–1. If we’d done that, we’d have won the match. Kiel then threw everyone forward and made it 2–2. We’re a bit disappointed because more was possible. The lads gave their all and executed things well. We’re happy with that. We’re not happy with the result, but we have to accept it and move on.” ...
